While the published concept designs maintain the futuristic style that the Borderlands series is known for, one offers a different aesthetic with retro industrial elements. In other words, a dark and twisted storytelling awaits us in the game’s atmosphere.

In particular, the darker tones of the artwork’s color palette hint that players may encounter a gloomier world in this new game. Gearbox stated that Borderlands 4 will be the “ ultimate treasure hunting game ,” signaling that players will be on the hunt for a mysterious alien treasure.

which will allow players to have new and exciting experiences in terms of both storytelling and gameplay.

The producers state that Borderlands 4 will be a production that will attract not only fans of the series but also new players. It seems certain that Gearbox will bring a fresh breath to the series in terms of visuals and story in the new game.
