The iPhone 16e, which Apple recently opened for pre-order, started to appear in performance tests before it went on sale. The new model, which appeared on Geekbench, attracted attention with its hardware features and performance. Here are the details

iPhone 16e in Geekbench database

Apple’s new affordable iPhone model iPhone 16e appeared in the Geekbench database with the code name ‘iPhone 17.5’. According to the test results, the device scored 2,706 points in single-core performance and 7,942 points in multi-core. These values indicate about 17 per cent lower single-core performance compared to iPhone 16, while multi-core scores remain almost identical.

At the heart of the iPhone 16e is Apple’s A18 processor. Geekbench results also confirm that the device comes with 8 GB of RAM. This coincides with the minimum amount of memory required to support Apple’s artificial intelligence-based Apple Intelligence features.
