Microsoft warned: Old NVIDIA GPU is causing problems!

Microsoft has released its latest update for users in the Canary channel of the Windows Insider program, leaving PC users with older NVIDIA graphics cards in a difficult situation. This preview version, build number 27723, can cause serious problems, especially on devices with older graphics cards such as the GTX 970 and Quadro K620. Here are the details

New Windows 11 update causes problems with older NVIDIA graphics cards

According to Microsoft, older NVIDIA graphics cards are experiencing problems with the new update, such as the screen going black, the system not responding, or the graphics card giving an error in device manager. While Microsoft says it is aware of these issues and is working to resolve them, this is a major test of patience for users with older hardware.

As a workaround, the company recommends that users roll back their systems to a previous version and stop Windows updates. However, this is not a practical solution for everyone. Rollbacks don’t always go smoothly and can be inconvenient for some users.

Computer users with older hardware often have more problems during updates. It is important to more carefully test whether updates are compatible with all types of hardware to improve the user experience.

It remains to be seen whether Microsoft will be able to resolve these issues quickly. While the tech giant promises to fix these bugs by releasing a new update, users may encounter completely different problems during the waiting period.
