Meta Muse Voice Lets You Talk to Your AI Agent Live
Meta Muse Voice and expressive avatars rolled out November 5 in the US on mobile, web and Mac. Can you interrupt Muse mid-sentence?

Meta Muse Voice is the real-time speech feature Meta added to its personal AI agent Muse on November 5, 2026. On mobile, web and Mac, tap the phone icon in the top-right corner to start talking.
Muse Realtime Voice answers out loud without waiting for a typed prompt. You can interrupt mid-reply, so the chat feels closer to a human call than a chatbot form.
The rollout starts in the United States. Meta has not named other countries yet. The pitch is clear: brainstorm or plan while you walk or when your hands are full.
How does Meta Muse Voice work?
Meta previewed live Muse talks at Connect 2026. The Muse app now ships that flow with Muse Realtime Avatar. The avatar adds gestures and facial cues while it listens and speaks.
You pick how present the avatar should be:
- Voice only
- Avatar beside the chat
- Full-screen avatar for face-to-face talk
Hundreds of voices are available. You can switch styles such as a New Yorker energy or a pirate flair whenever the mood changes.

What is it useful for day to day?
Meta's examples include shaping a half-baked trip plan out loud, rehearsing a job interview, or practicing a pitch. Muse keeps working in the background as you talk.
In our view, the real gain is less pressure to craft the perfect typed prompt. Speaking helps when typing on a phone is awkward. The avatar's gestures also set Muse apart from voice-only rivals.
When do AI Glasses and Muse Charm get voice?
Voice chats with Muse are coming soon to AI Glasses and Muse Charm. Meta did not give a date. Muse earlier topped free iPhone charts. We covered that in this story. Mosseri's productivity tips are in this write-up.
