Mafia fans rejoice! A game featuring Tommy Angelo is coming

The Mafia game series, initially released in 2002 with Mafia 1, has garnered a wide fan base worldwide. According to recent developments, there’s exciting news for these fans as it’s claimed that the countdown has begun for the new installment in the beloved series.

The Mafia game series, which began with Mafia 1 in 2002, followed by Mafia 2 in 2010, and Mafia 3 in 2016, saw re-releases of all three games in 2020. Now, it seems another installment is being added to these games.

New Mafia game could be announced soon

A reliable source in the gaming world, Kurakasis, claims that Take-Two will announce a new game soon. While no specific date has been shared, it’s said that the trademark for the game has been registered. This suggests that the announcement may not be too far off.

Last year, the developer of the Mafia series posted a job listing for an ‘unannounced multi-platform’ game. Though the nature of this game wasn’t disclosed, it was speculated to be related to the Mafia series.

Kotaku, a trusted name in the gaming industry, revealed in May 2022 that the new installment in the series would start in Sicily, the birthplace of the Mafia, and players would control the character of Tommy Angelo. The inclusion of Tommy Angelo, one of the most beloved characters in the gaming world, in the new game has excited fans of the series.
