Predator: Badlands has been released

Predator: Badlands, the new film in the revived Predator series, premieres this week. The film, which will be released on November 7th in many countries, including Turkey, was screened by film critics and industry influencers before its release.

Predator: Badlands has been met with critical acclaim

Initial reviews for the film have addressed questions about the plot and trailers, raising expectations. Initial reactions and critic scores are quite positive.

As of today, the film has a critic score of 87 percent on Rotten Tomatoes and 72 percent on MetaCritic. These scores make Predator: Badlands the third-highest-rated film in the series. Only Prey and Predator: Killer of Killers received higher critical acclaim.

Predator: Badlands is directed by Dan Trachtenberg, who also directed the previous film, Prey. Trachtenberg brought a different approach to the series in Prey, and he explores an interesting theme in Badlands.

The film tells an unconventional story: the Predator, normally the hunter, now becomes the hunted. The story follows Dek, a young Predator ostracized by his own civilization, as he struggles to survive on a deadly planet with limited resources. During this struggle, Dek is aided by a synthetic android character played by Elle Fanning.

This android character in the film makes Predator: Badlands even more intriguing for the future of the series. This character is introduced as an android produced by the Weyland Yutani corporation, a company reminiscent of the Alien films. This signals that the Predator and Alien franchises will once again be interconnected.
