In their article, Thurott claimed that Qualcomm Snapdragon X Elite surpasses even Apple’s latest M3 chips ‘by a wide margin.’ This development is particularly exciting considering the increasing integration between Windows and Android.

WinFuture reported that Qualcomm is also preparing to launch the ‘Snapdragon X Plus’ model in some devices soon. This chip will likely be a more streamlined version of the Elite, offering 10 cores compared to Elite’s 12-core structure. While exact details are still unknown, the chip’s model number appears as ‘X1P’ whereas the Elite is ‘X1E’, and it will also support the X65 modem.

Laptops powered by Snapdragon X Elite are expected to hit the market in the coming months. The Snapdragon X Plus, according to reports, will debut in the fourth quarter of 2024.
