Spotify updated with new features

Spotify has released a long-awaited major update for Apple TV users. The completely redesigned Spotify Apple TV app promises a faster, smarter, and more visually rich experience based on user feedback.

What does the new Spotify Apple TV app offer?

The app features a brand new and refreshed design developed natively for tvOS. According to a company spokesperson, this update aims to bridge the gap between Apple TV owners and Apple Music on the big screen.

One of the most notable additions in the new version is the video side. Specifically targeting the growth of the video podcast market, Spotify is introducing significant improvements for streaming music videos and podcasts. This is seen as a significant step towards expanding Spotify content in the living room.

The update isn’t just limited to design. Lyrics support is now available in the app. Users also gain new features like remote control, DJ recommendations, queue management, and adjusting podcast or video playback speed through Connect.
