Will GTA 6 be delayed again?

New information has emerged regarding the release date of the highly anticipated GTA 6. Initially slated for release in the fall of 2025 and then postponed to May 2026, there was speculation about whether the game would face a second delay. According to information from Rockstar Games employees, the game is confident it will meet its May 26, 2026, release date.

GTA 6 to be released on May 26

This new development suggests that the likelihood of another delay is low. GTA 6 will be released for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S on the specified date.

Strauss Zelnick, CEO of Take-Two, Rockstar Games’ parent company, has previously stated that gamers should trust the company. However, industry sources warn that the gaming world is open to surprises. If the company encounters an unexpected issue, it has no choice but to postpone the release date again.

Rockstar Games has been in the news for similar delays in previous releases. The company has also delayed games like GTA V and Red Dead Redemption 2 before their release. This demonstrates that the company is not afraid to deviate from the release date when it deems necessary to deliver its games in the best possible way.

Therefore, while internal sources offer hope, fans should remain cautious until a final statement is released. Rockstar is known for its uncompromising commitment to quality, and any technical issues that may arise during the final stages of the game could trigger a potential delay.
