GTA 6 Screenshots: Rockstar Drops 39 New Images Before Launch

GTA 6 screenshots are back in the spotlight: Rockstar Games published 39 new in-game images on November 5, 2026, in a "Launch Gallery" on the official Grand Theft Auto VI website. The drop comes exactly two weeks before the game launches on November 19 for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S.

Rockstar announced the gallery in a post on X. "Grand Theft Auto VI is now officially only two weeks away," the studio wrote. It closed with, "See you in Leonida on November 19."

What Do the New GTA 6 Screenshots Show?

Rockstar did not add captions, so the images carry no story or mission details. Vice City gets the biggest share with 15 images. Jason Duval follows with nine shots, Jason and Lucia appear together in seven, and Lucia Caminos gets four, based on the gallery file names TweakTown counted. The rest leave the city: two show the Grassrivers wetlands, one the Leonida Keys and one Port Gellhorn.

Some outlets first put the total at 35 to 38 images. However, the unique files add up to 39, the same number our Turkish team counted.

The shots of the two leads cover a store robbery, shootouts from moving cars, a crowded nightclub and a beach bar. Jason appears in police chases, on a motorcycle, in helicopter scenes and lifting weights at a gym, while most of Lucia's images show her armed. Other frames show an airboat crew hunting alligators at night. Another shows police closing in on a superyacht.

The side characters matter too. For example, tattoo parlors, street crews, beach car meets and packed clubs suggest a dense, busy Leonida. Fans have also spotted familiar faces from earlier trailers dancing next to the two leads.

When Does GTA 6 Come Out?

The gallery repeats the November 19, 2026, launch date for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar still has not announced a PC version or date. Digital buyers can start downloading the game early, and our GTA 6 preload guide covers start times and the roughly 212GB file size.

Fan site RockstarINTEL suggests this could be the last big screenshot drop before launch. Sony is also counting on the game: its PS5 sales fell 35% last quarter, yet the company raised its games forecast with big releases like GTA 6 on the way.
