LG Wallpaper TV Returns: Thinner & Truly Wireless

Tech giant LG has made a stunning return to a beloved concept, reintroducing the LG Wallpaper TV at CES 2026. After being shelved in 2020, this innovative series is back with the powerful LG OLED evo W6 model. Unveiled as ‘the world’s thinnest, truly wireless OLED TV,’ this new television is set to completely redefine the home cinema experience.

The New LG Wallpaper TV: Design and Core Features

The new LG OLED evo W6 masterfully blends minimalist design with cutting-edge technology. With an astonishingly slim profile of just 9 mm, the TV appears to merge seamlessly with the wall. Furthermore, it achieves a completely cable-free look by receiving all its power and data wirelessly from an external unit called the ‘Zero Connect Box.’ This innovative approach eliminates cable clutter entirely.

The visual experience is powered by ‘Hyper Radiant’ technology, which delivers unprecedented deep blacks, vibrant colors, and brilliant brightness levels. At its core, the TV features the third-generation α11 AI processor. This powerful chip enables impressive performance, including a 4K resolution at a 165 Hz refresh rate and a mere 0.1 ms response time, promising a fluid and sharp picture for both movie lovers and gamers.

Enhanced for Gaming and AI Integration

LG hasn’t forgotten about the gaming community with its new Wallpaper TV. The device offers full support for Nvidia G-Sync and AMD FreeSync Premium, ensuring smooth, tear-free performance even in the most competitive games. Additionally, the TV is integrated with today’s leading AI assistants. With support for Google Gemini and Microsoft Copilot, it also functions as a smart home hub.

While LG has not yet officially announced the price or screen size options, the new Wallpaper TV is expected to be positioned in the premium market segment. Industry rumors suggest that the price tag could exceed $20,000.
