Elon Musk is in trouble again! Feds are after Tesla

Intense surveillance of Elon Musk’s company and himself continues. This time, a federal investigation has been launched into Tesla’s autonomous driving systems and its claims about these systems.

Tesla’s Autopilot system will be investigated by the feds

US authorities have opened a federal investigation into Tesla to question the veracity of claims it made about the capabilities of its Autopilot and Fully Automated Driving systems.

The investigation was opened because Tesla claimed to have a fully autonomous system. It will examine whether Tesla misled investors and consumers with this claim. It is stated that the US Department of Justice is also examining Elon Musk with vague statements on this issue.

The investigation will be part of already ongoing scrutiny of Tesla’s autonomous driving systems. Last month, the US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced that it would investigate Tesla over the recall of vehicles with Autopilot systems.

Previously, Tesla vehicles were recalled after an increase in accidents involving Autopilot vehicles. The increase in the number of these accidents raised serious questions about the safety and effectiveness of Tesla’s autonomous driving technology. In addition, in October last year, it was confirmed that more information about Tesla’s autonomous driving features was requested by the US Department of Justice.

Twitter founder also resigns from his new platform!

Elon Musk reiterated Tesla’s vision of autonomous vehicles at its recent earnings conference call. Musk suggested that Tesla owners’ vehicles could serve as robot taxis when not in use, allowing owners to generate revenue. However, these claims and promises are considered unrealistic and even exaggerated by some.

Such big promises and claims have become a hallmark of Elon Musk’s personality and company. However, this latest federal investigation questions the seriousness and realism of Tesla’s claims about autonomous driving technologies and could have a significant impact on the company’s future.

The Tesla Model Y population in Turkey has increased considerably. Do you think Teslas in Turkey will also be recalled? What do you think? Please do not forget to share your thoughts with us in the comments section below.
