Dexpot'u farklı eklentilerle geliştirmek mümkün. Oluşturduğunuz masaüstlerini 3 boyutlu efektlerle görmek isterseniz Dexcube eklentisini kurabilirsiniz. Bu eklentiyi kullanabilmek için sisteminizde DirectX 9 veya üstü yüklü olmalıdır. Dexcube eklentisiyle masaüstünü değiştirmek için Ctrl + Alt ve yukarı aşağı ok tuşları kullanılmalıdır.
Dexpot'un bir diğer eklentisi SevenDex ile masaüstlerini Windows 7 görev çubuğunda görebiliyorsunuz. Son olarak saatli bir duvar kağıdı olan Wallpaper Clock eklentisi ayarladığınız saat ayarlarına göre otomatik değişerek size saati ve tarihi hatırlatmış olacak.
Daha bir çok kolaylığı ve özelliği içerisinde barındıran bu program ile artık sayfa kalabalığına da son verebilirsiniz. Masaüstlerine özel isimler vererek de kategorilere ayırabilirsiniz.
