The countdown has begun for Pixel 8a, which Google is preparing to launch as an affordable alternative to the  Pixel 8 series, which it introduced to users last year. The common point of the leaks about the smartphone so far is that it will be price-performance focused, just like its predecessors. Finally, Google Pixel 8a was revealed before launch. Here are the Google Pixel 8a features and potential release date!

Google Pixel 8a accidentally confirmed – Features and potential release date

Google unexpectedly removed the battery statistics feature, which displayed charge cycle counts and the production date of the battery,  offered to users with the Android 14 QPR1 build from Pixel devices compatible with the March 2024 update.

Google explained the reason for removing the useful battery statistics feature on its bug tracking  page. Accordingly, the reason for the withdrawal of the relevant function is Google Pixel 8a. To elaborate on this, the battery statistics feature that comes with the Android 14 QPR1 build will be available on devices released on Pixel 8a and later. This means that the brand indirectly confirms that it will launch an affordable smartphone this year as well.
