iPhone 16 Pro and Pro Max will have a big increase in battery capacity

New details about the battery capacity of the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max models have emerged. According to the information shared by China-based Weibo leaker Instant Digital, the battery capacity of the iPhone 16 Pro will be 3,577 mAh. This figure represents a 9.25 percent increase compared to the iPhone 15 Pro’s 3,274 mAh battery. iPhone 16 Pro Max will have a 4,676 mAh battery, which is a 5.74 percent increase compared to the previous model’s 4,422 mAh capacity.

These significant increases will allow users to use their devices for longer. In particular, the 9.25 percent increase in battery capacity of the iPhone 16 Pro will make a noticeable difference in daily use. The increase won’t be limited to battery capacity; Apple’s efficiency improvements in the new models are expected to make devices last longer on a single charge.

In addition, the iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max are rumored to use stacked battery technology. This technology will extend the life of the batteries and improve the user experience by increasing energy density. The new models will also support 40W wired fast charging and 20W MagSafe charging. This is a big improvement over the iPhone 15 Pro models, which only support up to 27W wired charging.
