The Google Pixel 10 offers a unique feature

Google is breaking new ground with the recent launch of its new Pixel 10 series phones. The Pixel 10, Pixel 10 Pro, Pixel 10 Pro XL, and Pixel 10 Pro Fold are the first phones to feature the ability to make WhatsApp voice and video calls via satellite. This feature was not announced by Google, but was revealed in a statement today.

Pixel 10 Series Increases Satellite Connection Support

This new feature will be available on August 28th. To make satellite calls via WhatsApp, users must be connected to a carrier that supports this feature. Carriers may charge an additional fee for this service. More information on this is expected to be shared by carriers in the coming days.

This development ushers in a new era in mobile communications. This feature, introduced with the Pixel 10 series, offers significant convenience, especially in remote areas where network access is lacking. WhatsApp’s status as one of the most popular messaging apps allows this technology to reach a wider audience.

This allows users to communicate even in emergencies or in areas with weak network coverage. This feature is considered a result of Google’s investments in satellite technologies and is expected to be integrated into more devices in the future.
