Will this technology make smartphones obsolete?

Elon Musk has once again presented an ambitious vision for the future: smartphones will soon become obsolete, replaced by brain chips. Musk claims that Neuralink’s brain chips will take over the role of phones in the future. This intriguing claim emerged from a humorous response to a parody account’s question about whether Neuralink would make it possible to control phones with thought. Musk replied, “In the future, there will be no phones, only Neuralink,” leaving us all surprised. So, will brain chips really replace smartphones?

Neuralink is a company aiming to establish a direct connection between the brain and computers. The goal is to read signals in our brain and issue commands to computers. Earlier this year, Neuralink performed its first brain chip implantation on a 29-year-old paralyzed man named Noland Arbaugh. Thanks to this implant, Arbaugh was able to return to playing chess, a game he had left eight years ago due to an accident. We were all quite impressed by this achievement.

Neuralink Chip Malfunctions in Human Trial!

The Neuralink brain chip is a highly complex device. It consists of 64 flexible filaments carrying 1,024 electrodes. These filaments, thinner than human hair, are implanted into the brain to detect electrical signals. These signals can be coded to perform the desired actions. This intricate process is carried out by Neuralink’s special surgical robot.

Of course, the idea of using a Neuralink chip instead of smartphones has received mixed reactions. Security and privacy concerns are at an all-time high. The concept of implanting a chip in the brain is naturally worrisome and raises suspicion for many people. The reactions to the first implantation were also quite varied. However, Musk believes that brain chips will become a common practice in the future. This technology indeed has the potential to revolutionize many areas, from medical assistance to human communication.

Will Elon Musk’s vision become a reality? Time will tell. But one thing is certain: the future of human-machine interaction is becoming increasingly fascinating and full of possibilities. Maybe one day everyone will be walking around
