Amazon Prime has raised its subscription fees

Amazon Prime, a service with millions of subscribers worldwide, has made headlines with news that will upset its users in Turkey. The company announced that it is increasing the monthly fee for its popular subscription service. This Amazon Prime increase has added another new subscription option to its digital platform.

New Amazon Prime Increase Decision and Details

Amazon Turkey officially announced the price change in an email to its subscribers. According to the announcement, the monthly subscription fee, previously 49.90 TL, has been increased by 40 percent to 69.90 TL. This new price will be effective for existing members starting with the next billing cycle.

News of the price increase spread quickly on social media and technology forums. While users had somewhat expected the increase due to global economic conditions and rising costs, they voiced their criticisms about the high rate of the increase. Most importantly, discussions have begun about whether this increase is worth the benefits offered by Prime.

Despite the price increase, Amazon Prime subscriptions continue to attract attention with their wide range of services. Subscribers can access thousands of TV shows and movies through Prime Video at no additional cost. They also get free games and in-game content every month with Prime Gaming. In addition to these services, free and fast shipping on purchases made through Amazon.com.tr are among the key benefits of the package.
