Big surprise! Microsoft may release a new Xbox model

Microsoft has accelerated its work for its next-generation console after the Xbox Series X and S models. According to the latest information, the new Xbox model includes radical changes and will be closer to a PC than a traditional game console. It is stated that the device, which is expected to be called “Xbox Prime”, will both work like a gaming computer and have a structure compatible with a TV.

Microsoft is coming with a new Xbox model

Behind this new strategy of Microsoft are projects that it has been working on for a long time for multi-platform support. The company has previously stated that it is considering integrating gaming platforms such as Steam into the Xbox. In this direction, it is stated that the new console will be able to access not only the Xbox ecosystem but also different game stores.

However, this approach also brings with it some question marks. It has been a matter of debate why a device that is said to have the same functionality as a gaming computer should be preferred over a standard PC.

Today, many gamers can easily connect their computers to their TVs and play games. Therefore, how Xbox Prime will affect traditional console gamers and whether it will have a competitive pricing policy remains unclear for now.

While it was previously claimed that the next-generation Xbox console would be released in 2026, according to the latest information, the release date has been revised to 2027 at the earliest. It is expected that more information about the device’s technical details and gaming ecosystem will be shared in the coming periods.
