NVIDIA continues to push the boundaries of the digital world. This time, it has brought an innovation to the world of gaming and digital media. The company introduced a new technology called NVIDIA ACE (Avatar Cloud Engine) that works in integration with Unreal Engine 5. Here are the details…
NVIDIA introduces ACE Unreal Engine 5 plugin for ultra-realistic digital characters (NPCs)
This technology makes it possible to create realistic and dynamic digital characters, especially for game developers. With NVIDIA ACE, ordinary NPCs (non-playable characters) will not only be able to deliver constant and repetitive dialog, but will also be able to communicate with players in a more interactive and intelligent way.
With the new technology, facial animations of characters will also become more realistic. The plugin, Audio2Face-3D, can create real-time lip synchronization and facial expressions based on voice input. This allows digital characters to move more naturally and expressively.
NVIDIA ACE will provide not only visual realism but also natural dialogs. Thanks to RAG (retrieval-augmented generation) technology, digital characters will be able to react more intelligently and logically based on speech history and context.
NVIDIA ACE is sure to be the perfect tool for game developers looking for both visual and interactive realism. In the future, digital characters will be much more intelligent and realistic. What do you think about this? You can write your opinions in the comments section below.
