A new technical detail about the iPhone 17 Pro Max model was leaked before Apple’s launch event. According to this previously unannounced information, the iPhone 17 Pro Max will come with a battery of approximately 5000 mAh capacity.

The battery of the iPhone 17 Pro Max model has been revealed

The company does not officially announce the battery capacities of the iPhone models, but this information usually emerges through tests and leaks. The iPhone Pro Max series is known for its high battery capacities. Small increases in battery life were observed with each new model.

Apple, which has been using batteries of 3969 mAh, 3687 mAh, 4352 mAh, 4323 mAh, 4422 mAh and 4676 mAh values since the iPhone 11 Pro Max, is preparing to offer the highest value in this series to date with the iPhone 17 Pro Max.

Apple states that the iPhone 16 Pro Max offers up to 33 hours of usage time on a full charge. The iPhone 17 Pro Max is expected to increase this period to at least 35 hours. However, these periods vary depending on daily usage habits. The increase in efficiency in the device is expected to come not only from battery capacity, but also from hardware improvements.

The new model is planned to feature Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X80 modem along with Apple’s A19 Pro chipset. This also shows that Apple will not use its own C1 modem in the Pro models, as previously claimed.

The efficiency performance of the Snapdragon X80 is expected to reduce battery consumption together with the A19 Pro. It is thought that this combination will offer significant improvements in the iPhone 17 Pro Max’s energy management compared to previous models.
