John Wick Hex will disappear from storefronts this week

After nearly six years on the market, John Wick Hex is getting delisted from every major digital storefront. If you’ve ever planned to grab it, now’s your last shot. Starting July 17, the game will no longer be available to purchase digitally, whether you’re on PC, PlayStation, Xbox, or Nintendo Switch.

John Wick Hex remains playable for current owners

The good news? If you already bought John Wick Hex, nothing changes. You can keep downloading and playing it, even after the delisting goes live. Physical owners will retain full access as well. Only future buyers will lose out once it’s gone; it’s gone.

Why John Wick Hex is worth grabbing before it’s gone

Released as a tactical spin on the action franchise, it surprised players by leaning into strategy rather than gun-fu spectacle. Instead of twitchy combat, it offered a more thoughtful, time-based system where you planned each move ahead.

Even though it didn’t land in blockbuster territory, the game carved out a loyal fan base thanks to its sharp design and strong visuals. The cel-shaded style gave it a graphic novel feel, and the tension between every decision matched the movie’s intensity, just on a different wavelength.

Last chance to get it: deep discounts live now

You can still find it at a steep discount ahead of its removal. Many storefronts have slashed prices to clear them out. Here’s what to expect:

• Steep price drops on PC platforms
• Sales on consoles through July 17
• Some retailers are offering it for under $5
• No guarantees of a future re-release
• Digital copies vanish after delisting

John Wick Hex delisting reflects a larger issue

Games tied to movie licenses often face this fate. Licensing deals expire, and titles vanish even when they still hold value. John Wick Hex becomes another reminder that digital ownership isn’t always permanent. Better act fast.
