New GTA 6 trailer is officially here

Hopes for a 2025 release were dashed earlier this week when Take-Two Interactive officially postponed the game to the summer of 2026. Following the announcement, the company saw a notable decline in its stock value.

However, the newly released trailer marks a significant step toward reigniting player excitement and regaining investor confidence. The video reveals more details about the new open-world setting, a modern reinterpretation of Vice City.

Character dynamics, city design, action sequences, and technological advancements all point to a game that will offer a more immersive and realistic experience than its predecessors. In the trailer, Rockstar Games clearly showcases its ambition to elevate the franchise’s visual quality and narrative depth to a whole new level.

GTA 6 is poised to be one of the most talked-about next-gen titles upon release. Launching on May 26, 2026, the game will initially be available only for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S. There is no official announcement yet regarding a PC version.
