Switch 2 screen dimensions leaked: Bigger than before!

New leaks have emerged about the Nintendo Switch 2, which Nintendo plans to launch in the first half of 2025. Leaks suggest that Switch 2 will have a larger screen and a wider design compared to its predecessor. So what other innovations can we expect to see? Details in our news…

Nintendo Switch 2 may come with a bigger screen

First of all, the information is confirmed by accessories such as a protective glass and carrying case listed on an online procurement platform. According to the leaks, the Nintendo Switch 2’s screen size will be larger than the 6.2-inch screen of the first-generation model and the 7-inch screen of the OLED model.

The new model is said to use an 8-inch screen. So, in addition to a larger screen, we may also see a naturally larger device. Looking at the size of the protective glass, this difference is clearly visible. Accessories such as protective glass and carrying case on the Chinese giant supply site Alibaba confirm that Switch 2 will have a larger form factor.

Confusing claim for Nintendo Switch 2!

For example, the dimensions of the carrying case are 290 x 135 x 45 mm. Based on these dimensions, we can say that the overall width and length of the device has been increased, not its thickness. We will wait and see how Nintendo Switch 2 will make an impact on the market with these innovations. Do you think a larger screen will positively affect the user experience?
