As in the first film, the production, adapted from Greg Rucka’s comic book of the same name, was directed by Victoria Mahoney this time. In the sequel, Andy, played by Charlize Theron, faces a new struggle after losing his immortality.

On the other hand, Booker, who was exiled for betrayal in the previous film, unexpectedly reunites with Quynh. The balance of the fictional universe is shaken by a new threat that threatens the order that has existed for centuries.

In the face of this situation, Andy takes action with Nile, Joe, Nicky and James Copley. The team gets help from an old friend, Tuah, while the new character Discord is played by Uma Thurman.

The Old Guard 2, which was delayed for about two years due to technical and production-related problems during the shooting process, is preparing to take the action and fantasy elements presented in the first film even further.
