Helldivers 2 continues to tear Steam apart!

Helldivers 2, which has become one of the most acclaimed productions in the gaming world in a short time, continues to make its developer smile with its sales numbers. The sales of the game reached a significant level even weeks after its release.

Helldivers 2 sales exceeded 5 million units

Although Sony has not officially confirmed the sales figures, Helldivers 2 continues to achieve record sales figures. For example, in its second week on sale in the UK, it saw an increase of over 100 percent. New reports have revealed that sales have surpassed 5 million units.

In addition, Helldivers 2’s ‘Mixed’ user review quickly rose to ‘Very Positive’. The number of concurrent players on Steam is also steadily increasing. In recent days, it almost reached an all-time high of 450,000 players.

Arrowhead, the developer of the game, continues to attract players with new content. The recently released update added random planet hazards. Also, after an operation on the planet Tien Kwan, the mechs are now fully playable.

Next week, the ‘Warbond’ pack will be released, offering new weapons, armor and cosmetics. All these innovations keep the game in the spotlight.

Sony and Arrowhead have yet to officially confirm sales figures. However, the 5 million sales figure proves that Helldivers 2 has exceeded expectations. It remains to be seen how this PlayStation-exclusive game will be valued in the future.
