OnePlus has posted November dates for ColorOS 17, the Android 17 update that also retires the OxygenOS name. In an official OnePlus Community post published November 4, 2026 and last edited November 5, the company listed six devices for this month, starting with the OnePlus 13R.
The November list starts with the OnePlus 13R on November 5, followed by the OnePlus 12 on November 17, the OnePlus Pad 3 on November 18, the OnePlus Open on November 24, and the OnePlus Nord 6 and Nord CE 6 on November 26. Because the rollout is staged, some users may get ColorOS 17 a few days after the listed date.
Which phones get ColorOS 17 in November?
| Date | Device |
|---|---|
| November 5, 2026 | OnePlus 13R |
| November 17, 2026 | OnePlus 12 |
| November 18, 2026 | OnePlus Pad 3 |
| November 24, 2026 | OnePlus Open |
| November 26, 2026 | OnePlus Nord 6 and Nord CE 6 |
Oppo's ColorOS Team published a separate official schedule on November 5, 2026 for Reno 15, Find N3 and other Oppo models. That Oppo list does not change the six OnePlus dates above, and both posts say availability may differ by region and model.
According to a November 5, 2026 report by Nicholas Sutrich at 9to5Google, the ColorOS Global account on X shared the same OnePlus dates. 9to5Google also expects 13 more OnePlus devices in December 2026 and the first quarter of 2027, including the OnePlus 12R, OnePlus 11, and OnePlus Pad 2. That remaining group is the publication's expectation, not a complete official leftover list from the community post.
Is OxygenOS going away?
Yes, at least as a name. 9to5Google says OxygenOS is officially going away with the Android 17 update, so OnePlus devices that still get software updates will run ColorOS branding going forward. That matches the shift we covered when OnePlus abandoned OxygenOS for ColorOS.
Oppo and OnePlus merged their software teams years ago, and the two interfaces have been nearly identical since then, so the change is largely a branding shift. OnePlus describes ColorOS 17 as a smarter, smoother software update built around a "Flow with AI, Flow Everywhere" theme, saying the software should keep up with the user and make it easier to move between tasks and devices.
For the wider platform timetable, see our earlier guide to the Android 17 release date.
The schedule also lines up with a period of hardware caution across Android brands, something we noted when reports said the Oppo Find X10 Ultra may have been shelved as memory prices soared. Users who want the update should check Settings after the listed date rather than expect it at midnight.
