This $3 horror game turned Steam upside down!

There are hundreds of indie games on Steam, but you may be struggling to find the ones that appeal to you. A horror game that made a big splash in recent days has aroused great curiosity with both its price and gameplay. Buckshot Roulette managed to get hundreds of positive reviews in a short time.

Why did Buckshot Roulette become so popular?

The indie horror game Buckshot Roulette was first published on itch.io last December. The game received positive reviews on the platform and quickly gained attention on Steam. In Buckshot Roulette, inspired by games like Inscryption and Resident Evil 7, you play Russian roulette against The Dealer.

The psychological thriller has reached more than 8,000 concurrent players since its release on Steam and has a remarkable 96 percent positive review score. The game, which is currently available for 1.5 dollars, features a very different gameplay.

In Buckshot Roulette you play Russian roulette with a killer. But each round you have to use various items to increase your chances and manipulate the opponent. This allows you to do a lot of replay and get different results with each replay.

Also, the 1.2 update released on Steam introduced a new “Double or Nothing” mode. This gives you the chance to increase your winnings or lose completely on the next move of Russian roulette.

As a special Steam launch special, Buckshot Roulette is on sale until April 11. The game, which has a regular price of $2.69, is currently on sale for around $1.5.
