The new Galaxy A57 is coming

Following the Galaxy A56, launched at the beginning of the year, Samsung continues work on the Galaxy A57, the next member of its popular mid-range series. The new model has surfaced in Geekbench benchmarks, revealing the device’s initial performance data.

New Galaxy A57 version tested

The Samsung Galaxy A57’s Geekbench 6.5 benchmark results show that the device achieved a single-core score of 1,311 and a multi-core score of 4,347. While these scores were obtained on prototype hardware, they represent a significant performance improvement over the previous model.

The increase in multi-core performance, in particular, provides a significant improvement in daily use, allowing apps to open faster and the interface to run smoother.

These benchmark results confirm that the device is powered by a new chipset, the Exynos 1680. An examination of the CPU architecture reveals that the processor includes a powerful Prime core clocked at 2.91 GHz.

Additionally, it features four performance cores operating at 2.6 GHz and three efficiency cores operating at 1.95 GHz. This core layout demonstrates that processing power is optimized for different usage scenarios.

Furthermore, testing the Samsung Galaxy A57 prototype with 12 GB of RAM demonstrates the device’s prowess in multitasking. The fact that the device runs on Android 16 is also noteworthy.

Android 16’s new security infrastructure, AI optimizations, and system-wide improvements aim to utilize the hardware’s power even more efficiently. This will directly contribute to a smoother user experience in daily use.
